I purchased this Gateway Intel Pentium Dual Core T2390 Processor, 2 GB RAM, 250 GB Hard Drive. The windows operating system was replaced with a linux ubuntu operating system. I have tinkered with it but I generally use a macbook. It is functional, with hard drive, USB drive, cd rom drive, comes with the power cord etc.

It's difficult to find a CD Rom in computers now. I wish the mac i use had one, lol!. It is pretty light weight for having these extras. i wanted to try the linux operation system. The Ubuntu Linux system which is fast, was very easy to use and also had a lot of powerful and free programs that could be added and used. I had some fun doing this but have restored it so you can have your own fun. it also has libre-office version that is similar and compatible with microsoft office (word, excel.)

UPDATE: I couldn't remember the admin password, so i found a youtube video that showed me how to change it in a couple of minutes. it did need some codes (I have no coding experience but i just input them as shown) and was able to change it, but the system crashed after. It has three accounts (admin, and two others) and all the programs show on the standard account. you can access all the programs in the admina /c as well but they just don't show on the desktop! I did a search on how to correct this and there are many ways to do it. I just don't have the time. I just want to let the buyer know that you will have to do some searching unless you know the operating system. BEING SOLD AS-IS. i'm REDUCING the GIN to 3000 xnk to cover shipping and listia fees etc. (1 xnk current value is 1.5 cents)
Will reduce GIN price by 50% if you pay $ 20 toward shipping costs. Item will not be renewed.
