I have had two obsidian fox beads on Listia and they were a very popular item. I have been extremely lucky to get my hands on this Rose Quartz, hand-carved, fox pendant bead. He is such an adorable little guy that I was thinking twice before putting him on Lista. I just have so many irons in the fire right now I am afraid he will wrinkle and turn grey before I had the chance to make a piece of jewelry that would showcase him to is full advantage.Rose quartz is an excellent heart-healing gemstone. It is a nature remedy that can be used for treating any issue that needs emotional healing. Rose quartz is a pink-colored crystal that carries a very gentle and soothing energy and gives comfort to anyone whose heart has been wounded. I hope nobody wants him because the have a wounded heart. I would hope that you want him because he is so darned cute and he really wants a good home. Rose quartz is one of the more rare quartz specimens and is a very feminine color. You won't be disappointed. He is a majestic 2 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches wide....and the only one I have. I don't know when, or even if, I can get another one. So if you are interested in him at all I would suggest bidding on him...you can't win him if you don't bid. Ah, but you knew that :) Oh, and he is the approximately the color of the first two pictures but he was very difficult to photograph and get his darling featres.

Well, it is at the top of his head and exits a short way down the back of his head. Gosh, poor fella. He will always stay upright and straight (of course, I guess that may depend on what position the wearer is in at the time) Sorry, I couldn't resist that one! So, I guess to answer your question, it runs vertically, but not the length of the bead. Thanks for your question. Except it made my head hurt for him! :)
