Looking for a convenient way to bring those digital photos to life on paper? The HP PhotoSmart 130 color inkjet printer offers impressive borderless 4-by-6-inch photos with up to 4,800 x 1,200 optimized color dpi. Using the printer's available card slots, you can print directly from your digital camera's CompactFlash, SmartMedia, Sony Memory Stick, Secure Digital, or MultiMediaCard memory media without having to first load images onto your system.

HP's specially developed inks and photo papers create intense colors that are nearly fade-proof, and they supply a range of finishes and sizes. The built-in paper feeder can process sheets up to 4 by 6 inches, the total number of sheets depending on their thickness.

The USB-equipped PhotoSmart 130 is easily transportable, measuring only 8.8 by 7.9 by 4.9 inches and weighing less than three pounds. Compatible with either PC or Macintosh.

NOTE: The toner cartridge feels new (weight) but is dried out. You might be able to resurrect it by adding water (I can provide a link to the instructions). But you may need to buy a new one. You'll need an HP 56 (black), 57 (color) or 58 (photo) if you are going to buy one.

NOTE2: I tested it with Windows 7 and was able to install a driver by following some instructions on HP's website. The printer is advertised as being Mac compatible, but I don't have one to test it with. But since it worked with Windows, I'm confident that it will work with a Mac as well.

You can defiantly go online and download the driver for free. This printer looks like the 7450 but smaller. It uses the same ink also. The ink is cheaper online. Check around and you will find good prices. Inkcloner.com is the cheapest I have found. Hope this helps :) Good luck.

I would assume that it depends on what software package you are using... I use a free one called GIMP that works quite well for being free.

I also liked PikNik before Google closed them down..
