Description

The listing, Organic Heirloom Calendula Seeds has ended.

This will be my last calendula auction this year!

I bought organic calendula 4 years ago and have grown them organically for the last 4 summers, each year I save some of the seed and it also self seeds. These seeds are from plants grown in 2011.

They are very easy to grow annuals that produce large plants with a variety of yellow and orange flowers, some with brown centers.

The flowers can be eaten in salads and also used in beauty products such as creams and soaps.

There will be at least 25 calendula seeds in the bag.

Free shipping Worldwide.

Yes, I'm sure that they would. It gets very hot here in summer (90F+) and very cold in the winter (-10F), so I'm sure they would do well in most climates. They are annuals and self seed for the next year. Fanned you back :-)

This is great! We need to save all the heirloom seeds we can because the government is now trying to switch all plants to hybrids - which, as you know, don't reproduce. Within the next 5-7 years it is estimated that 98% of all heirloom seeds will be gone. Once these seeds are gone, and we can no longer grow our plants from seed every year, the government will be in control of our food supply. So my mom, myself, and several others in my firends/family group are finding and saving/growing as many heirlooms as possible.
