Prepaid which means you buy time when you need time on the phone and you can usually add more time on the phone with your debit or credit card when you want more time Pay as you go This is a great phone but I got a new one so am giving this one away. It is a camera phone and has internet capabilities but I did not use that, Sorry no instructions, but it is pretty easy to figure out the basics...I only used basics. You may be able to download a manual, I never looked for it because it was easy to figure out.
