You get this 2000 british 50 pence coin you see in the photos & it looks like a circulated proof, because it's very shiny like a mirror!!! my scanner makes shiny coins look dark....

No, this is not a proof. It's a regular circulated 50p coin. Even as a new regular issue it would have been a very shiny coin. They older type tended to dull to a dirty grey when well circulated, while they newer ones stayed shiny in areas.

I regularly find proof coins that end up in piles of world coins & this one was struck with either a new die or it is a proof.....
