The pattern tells you how to make the panels. It gives you all the instructions. Basically the panels are what ever size you need them to be. It gives you illustrations how to make them.

You measure the window area you want to use the panels for. In the directions it tells you how much to add for the hem if you want one and for the Casing with a standing head.
