vey nice and only worn a few times. magnetic therapy necklace. magnetic therapy is said to help with many physical ailments, pain and help blood circulation. there is a lot of information about the related health benifits that you can read about on the web. just type in a search for 'magnetic therapy'. it has been used since ancient times and there is way too much for me to write it here.
i can tell you that i wore this necklace for a while and it really did help arthritis pain in my neck and shoulders. i would still be wearing it but my skin has become so sensitive, due to diabetes, etc. that i can't wear anything at all around my neck. my bad luck could be a great thig for you!!
the necklace is goldtone over 24 magnets. i don't remember the gauss, but i do know that it is pretty high.
it is 20 inches long and has a lobster claw clasp.each piece is about 3 1/2 mm. thick. it is very pretty and shiny. when i was able to wear it i got a number of comliments on it. it looks like a regular necklace, so no one would know it is magnetic unless you told them. however, if it comes close enough to any metal it will pick it right up!!!! lol
