The listing, Raggedy Ann & Andy Lot-Vintage AM Radio, 1974 Plastic Bank, Woodkins Puzzle, etc-Relisting! has ended.
This is a relisting! This is a group lot of Raggedy Ann & Andy items which includes a vintage AM radio, a plastic bank, and a Woodkins puzzle/dress-me doll. I also located a small Christmas ornament of the generic doll that has part of the felt rubbed off the face (could be replaced with felt glued back on), so this is just a bonus. The vintage radio is circa 1973/4. It looks like it had a detachable microphone at one time as there is a mic plug and holder. It has a switch to go from P.A. to radio-mix, so I guess you could plug in a mic and sing along or use it as am amplifier for the mic. It has an adjustable volume knob on the front and another knob that adjusts Raggedy's left arm to switch from station to station. All knobs seem to function properly. There is a pop-up carrying handle in the top plus a battery compartment for a 9-volt battery on the back (but the door cover is missing). The next item is the 1974 copyright plastic bank by Royalty Ind. of Fla., Inc. This is an Andy-looking hard plastic bank/doll with a coin opening in his back. He has real yarn red hair and very worn blue felt pants plus real fabric red checked bow tie. He has separate eyes with a white backer. I am guessing the head may remove somehow to remove money from the bank, but I can't figure out how it comes off. The head does rotate, however. The final item is a 2001 dated Raggedy Andy-labeled wooden "puzzle"/dress-me doll by Woodkins by Pamela Drake, Inc. It has a removable head piece with a magnetic back, then the top wooden "lid" lifts to reveal just the body on the lower wooden portion, and I think this is a "dress-me" doll in which you can insert scraps of fabric between the wooden layers to appear to clothe the doll when the lid is closed. Raggedy Andy is wearing a black fabric bow tie, and his body has some gouges and scrapes in the wood. These come from a smoke-free home.
