Description
The listing, Panasonic Voice Recorder with 2 Microcassette Tapes has ended.
Panasonic Voice Recorder with 2 Microcassette Tapes! It has a Voice Activated System and Fast Playback. Model # RN-305. Runs off 2 AA batteries. I bought this for one of my college classes, only used a couple times (no longer have a purpose for it).
Questions & Comments
How close to the instructor do you have to be for it to pick up? Is it clear? I am about to start nursing school this fall and need one of these.
I always sat in the front just to be sure, not positive on exact clarity in relation to distance. I never had any issues hearing what I had recorded. I actually bought it from my college's bookstore :)
Actually I am going to say yes and no. I was able to record EVP using a similar recorder many years ago. One advantage of this one is that it has the voice activated system (VAS) and that it lasts forever on a couple batteries! They say a digital recorder is supposedly better or a recorder with an external microphone (this one is not digital and it does not have a jack for external because it has a built in microphone). If you don't mind spending a LOT of money then go with digital, otherwise any of the newer recorders like this would do (the old ones made inner noises that affected playback for EVP).
Well it uses ----> Microcassette Tapes and you can see how big it is compared to them from the picture....but let me grab my tape measure. It is 4 1/2 inches length by 2 1/2 inches tall by 1 inch thick ^_^ Hope that helps you!!!
