There is a reason that the person who has a buzzard for their profile pic is so nasty, its because they have nothing better to do than go around picking apart other peoples auctions, just like a buzzard on road kill !!!
You would think that someone who claims to be a tree hugger would have more compassion ... guess not eh ???

(just a side note, everyone I have talked to has already blocked the complainer in question !!!)

Awesome plane and auction by the way !!!
I plan on bidding closer to the end !!!

he is saying listing it as a 1940 metal plane & bank is misleading potential bidders as it is clearly not made in 1940 as your listing suggests. it in fact was made in 1999. listing heading should include the words replica, copy or at least retro. all that said very cool little bank you have there, thanks for listing it. m

Not needed I have no doubt about its authenticity. I was just trying to determine if from 1940 but I googled it and it was manufactured in 1999

It's a REPO =-Commemorative! made in China by Crown Premium Products in 1999 for McKee Foods Corp. in the US. FYI -1940 Bank is a fraudulant way to list, other sellers/buyers can find the date with a little work!

I thought antique at first, but Little Debbie brand didn't seem old enough. Fact is Little Debbie's only been around since 1960's. Folks had it been actual 1940 metal plane bank, I would have listed it in antiques, not in COLLECTIBLES. Go easy, we all make mistakes from time to time!

I don't think it's misleading at all to put 1940 plane in the title since that is what is written on the box. Most people look at the photos before bidding & can clearly see that this is a collectible item, not that old. There are a lot of toy collectors & little debbie fans who would love to have this, as you can see by the great bids you are getting & the # of people watching. Block those jerks who leave rude remarks, no need to act that way to such a nice person as yourself :o)

I try to nut every Little Debbie doll or bear they come out with since thats my boyfriends all fav snacks. And he calls me Debbie. I don't think I've ever noticed any of my things decreasing in value only increasing. It's according to how many they sold. Also I was told that on some things that are antique they can be considered that if they are no longer made like retired. But even if they are older and still being produced they are called vintage. I've read about it several places and not all answers were the same. Some things can be antique in 25 years like a care where toys or collectibles vary. Thanks.
