From bottom to top of an ear about 3 inches and just over 2 inches in both height and width (not counting the ears) The size of a picture it will hold is just about the size of a silver dollar.

Oh no it is not cardboard. It does not really say what it is made of. If I had to make a guess I would say resin..but remember this is only my guess. We use to always have a Disney tree and instead of a train around it ..we had the monorail..but all the kids are grown and the past 2 years we have just put up a very small tree, with only the really memorable ornaments.

I think any Disney fan will like it. I rarely let go of my Disney items. But this one has no special memory attached. And with all the kids and grand kids grown we do not put up a big tree any more.
