Also a Fat DS Charger will work with a GBA/SP as well, but not a DS Light charger.

i don't know if it works. it runs on rechargeable batteries they are in the gameboy.

You mean it has a battery pack or are the batteries removable one at a time. If they are double aa batteries it won't matter if you put in regular batteries to test it. If they are connected to each other then I see your point. I have the charger listed. Raz

from what i can tell the battery is integrated in the gameboy. it cannot be taken out, or maybe it can't i just won't do it. i don't want to mess anything up.

The battery is built in, you need the ac charger. Do you know if is still holding a charge? Also is screen in good shape?

It is under a lb so it should go first class for about 3.50 anywhere in the usa

I just checked the online postal calculator and if it is 12 oz or less then from washington state to new york it is only 3.09 or less if you use a large envelope.
