Rare old antique 1st edition children's book originally written by Johanna Spyri, famous author of the story Heidi, entitled "Moni the Goat Boy and Other Stories," published in 1906 by Ginn and Company, translated out of the German by Edith F. Kunz, from the Once Upon A Time Series, with 211 pages.

It has a gray-green cloth hardcover with black pictorial decorations, decorated endpapers, a frontispiece engraving, illustrated throughout with light spots of foxing typical for age, still entirely string-bound and mostly clean without major markings, tears, or other damage to the text pages.

The only damage are a couple library ink stamps inside the front cover, wear and light soiling to the outside cover as shown, and the hinges have cracked which has slightly loosened the spine, but entirely bound, intact, and in very readable clean condition on the interior.

Overall, a wonderful and scarce vintage juvenile book by a well-known author of children's books that would be appreciated by anyone who collects or enjoys reading old and rare books, especially children's books or the works of Johanna Spyri.
