Tired of seeing the cool charms online, but wishing you could fill it with something of your own choosing? Here's your chance! Fill with ashes, ocean water, sand, hair locks, currency, mustard seeds, crystals, beads, special oils, pearls, salts, tiny rhinestones, geographically important soils, gold dust, fairy dust, anything and everything that has special meaning to Y*O*U !!! Comes with the GLASS amulet (rounded bottom), a rubber stopper*, a silver toned metal cap and a jump ring. Photo show how big it will be when put together (about 1"). Pix show steps to filling it -- first the stopper is rubber and seals whatever you put inside. (NOTE about the stopper --- This particular glass orb has a smaller circumference than others I have used in the past, so the stoppers I keep in stock didn't fit [too big]. So I nicked this one around the edges so it will fit. [See photo.] The stopper does NOT have to be used on any project that is NOT liquid. Oils, sea water and such will require the stopper so they won't leak out. Again, a 50/50 epoxy, resin or jeweler's epoxy will adequately keep dry ingredients inside with NO stopper.) Then glue on the metal topper (does not screw on). Then add the jump ring and attach to your heart's desire. Just takes a little jeweler's epoxy or 50/50 resin to seal (available at Walmart or any crafts store). This DIY project can be anything you want it to be. What amazing idea do you have?
