The listing, 4X Child of Night / 4X Terramorphic Expanse (Magic The Gathering 2010) MTG M10 has ended.
This is an auction for 4 copies of Terramorphic Expanse and 4 copies of Child of Night, all from the Core 2010 set of Magic: The Gathering. The condition is VG+. Child of Night is a quick way to start building a defense, gaining some life and hopefully doing some damage, and Terramorphic Expanse is a good way to get the land you need in a multi-color deck.
CHILD OF NIGHT
Casting Cost: 1 colorless mana and 1 black mana
Type: Creature - Vampire
Text: Lifelink (Damage dealt by this creature also causes you to gain that much life.)
Power/Toughness: 2/1
Tip: This card is a great start to a good Vampire deck. It only costs 2 mana to play, so you could easily have it on the battlefield by the second turn. His power may not hold up late in the game, but 2 power is not too shabby for earlier turns. This is especially true when you consider than every time it deals damage, you gain life. So hopefully this card will allow you to hit the ground running by draining your opponent's life while supplementing your own.
TERRAMORPHIC EXPANSE
Type: Land
Text: Tap and sacrifice Terramorphic Expanse: Search your library for a basic land card and put it onto the battlefield tapped. Then shuffle your library.
Tip: The more colors you are using in your deck, the more useful this card can be. While it does not produce any mana of any kind, it provides you with the oppurtunity to search your deck for that land your missing. Say you're running a black and white deck Revolving around Vampires and Lifelink. It's your first turn and you've got a Child of Night in hand, but the only lands you drew are a Plains and a Terramorphic Expanse. You can play Terramorphic Expanse, sacrifice it to search for a Swamp, then wait until your second turn to play the Plains and then you can play Child of Night.
If black just isn't your color, check out my other auction with 4 copies of Lightning Bolt and 4 copies of Terramorphic Expanse.
