Description

The listing, BEAUTIFUL REAL TANZANITE/DIAMOND RING SET IN 10K GOLD. PURCHASED FOR $240.00. has ended.

BEAUTIFUL REAL TANZANITE/DIAMOND RING SET IN 10K GOLD. PURCHASED FOR $240.00 IN 1990, BUT RARELY WORN. The only problem is an ignorant jewelry salesperson cleaned it with heat. Tanzanite is a softer stone and the heat made it somewhat cloudy. Otherwise, the diamonds and gold are in perfect condition. The Tanzanite is approx. 1/4+ k and the diamonds on either side are approx 1/8+k. The 10k white gold and diamonds are in perfect conditon. It really A VERY BEAUTIFUL RING! Despite the Tanzanite flaw. My ex-husband bought it for $240.00 in 2001, but I rarely wore it.

Please spay/neuter your pets and please do not purchase from pet stores as they get their animals from puppy mills etc. Your animal shelter is the best place to go, but if you're looking for a specific breed, almost every breed has a "rescue" Simple Google, for instance "Bulldog Rescue, Columbus, OH". I found my friend's dog that way. 500 pets die every day from abuse and neglect and this is an atrocity that must STOP!
Please NO HATERS! I'm desperately trying to get this message across, but one couple has made it their mission to report every auction I put up and to get me kicked off Listia, because I blocked her. Than her husband went on attack. Interesting, beause two people, in the same household, with two accounts IS against the rules. They're quite mean and hypocritical. PLEASE, if you don't like the pictures i put up, just don't look, please don't flag me. For the sake of the animals.
The last 3 pictures is our young cat Booty. He found us with only weeks to live, as he was starving to death. As you can see, he's VERY GRATEFUL to us for rescuing him! LOL. Such a good BOY! After a brief time out. LOL(Yes, neutered)

Thank you and God bless.

Not sure what you're referring to, but if it's about tthe animals, I'll do everything in my power to rescue animals who live in horrendous conditions. I have a Face Book page called "Stop Animal Abuse, Toughen Legislation"
I've received nothing but positive comments and feedback about this. The auctionss are great, but my mission is to save animals.

It was purchased in 2001, NOT 1990. Sorry about the typo.

I myself work with feral cats, many are euthanized because the sad belief that they are not able to be socialized to Human contact and that is just not true, it just takes a lot of effort and some time, my whitamus, bella and puddums are proof of that, I think it is awesome that you have such a wonderful conviction to help animals, the sorely need it, beautiful ring, I will be biiding and I am a fan as well :)

You're right on! Feral cats CAN be socialized, but it does take a lot of time and patient. If not, you can still catch them in a humane trap, have them spayed or neutered and let them go again. Pasado's Safe Haven did that, as well as kept them fed. It's really awesome that you've successfully adopted several. I'm really impressed and touched that you've accomplished this. God bless you!

Thank you very much, I do whatever I can. One nasty woman and her equally hateful husband were blocked, because they told me they found it inappropriate. (Not the words they used) When I blocked her, her husband jumped on HIS account and they made it their mission to find and flag every one of my auctions. (That's what the cow blowing a raspberry is for) They talked about the "rules", but isn't it illegal to have two accounts in the same household? They could jack up their own auctions. I even unblocked her and put out the Olive Branch. She was even nastier after that. I looked at one of her auctions and could see why she's so bitter. She even LOOKS miserable! Listia took all my animal stuff down, but I've managed to sneak it back in after awhile. I was so disheartened at first, I almost quit this site altogether.

the ring is too small for me, but I fanned you anyway! I wish there were more people like you in the world (people who care about animals!). So many are abused and neglected. It is a shame:( Keep up the good work getting the word out there!
I don't think it's against the rules though for that husband and wife to both have an account. My husband and I both have seperate accounts, and I've talked to and know other people who have 2 accounts in the same household. I think they're just not allowed to bid on each other's auctions.

What a wonderful note. These just make my day! You're a sweet woman! I'd try and find a cat who came from an abusive home, so the rest of his/her life will be filled with the lve you'd give em'. God bless you!

F&W ring is lovely. animals are wonderful! i, personally, like animals more than most of the people i meet. my two dogs & 2 cats are all neutered/spayed, chipped and always up to date on shots. i will be going to our local shelter soon to look for one more kitty to round out our household.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! BLESS YOU.

That's awesome, I goofed up and replied this to another person, so read what I wrote to the lovely lady below. Feral cats can be tamed, it just takes patience and a lot of love. Also, to the wonderful woman below, I know it's illegal for two in a household to have separate accounts. With these two, it wouldn't surprise me.

Fanning & atching you! I have two things similar to yours, first of all, I have a cloudy tanzanite, albeit cloudy, but still beautiful and a cat that my husband and I rescued on a -10 degree day three years ago and she is amazing. The best pet anyone could hope to be owned by.

That's great about your very blessed cat. If it had been 10 degrees when we got Booty, there's no way he would have survived. I had him on kitten chow to get the fat on him. He was basically ribs with fur and a tail.
Did a jeweler clean your ring with heat too? That's how my stone picked up it's bit of cloud. The diamonds and gold are in terrific condition and it is still beautiful, God bless you both!

I don't know how the jeweler cleaned it, but I still love it, it has more character that way and is set with a 6mm white sapphire in a pendant in 14 kt gold.

Sounds gorgeous! The jeweler had to use heat, because another one told me that it was a big mistake.

All I know is that it is just fine the way it is. I do have a tanzanite ring that has beautiful, sparkling purple stones in it that are all clear and it is amazing. Tanzanite has been named the new universal birthstone for anyone.

I heard it's popularity has soared, but not the universal birthstone! That's pretty cool!

Do you have a GIN option? this is really pretty!
Jun 1st, 2012 at 11:20:55 AM PDT by

It's too late, since there are bids. I don't like GINs, because I never know how much to charge. I may over-charge and look greedy and stupid or under-charge and wind up shooting myself in the foot. I'm really sorry.

Doesn't Detroit partake in a lot of dog fighting? To me, that just brings out the worst in humanity (next to those who beat children) I was so disgusted when Michael Vick was busted for it. Those dogs are traumatized enough, but their bait and practice dogs and cat rewards is what really upsets me. I donate too, I'm an ASPCA Guardian and donate monthly. Thank God for you and your caring, loving nature. You are wonderful.
