the wooden one is size N

I need an F hook. So I guess it isn't in this lot.
What do the different letters mean? Maybe the size of loop they make?
I want to learn but have to find someone to teach me.

The different letters mean the size of the stitch you make.I will be listing a new auction with the size needle you are looking for on Sat.
