I originally got it for my iPad but didn't work on it. It worked with my iPod 4 and one for my droid. It's pretty much just a battery back up in case ur phone is about to die

these things are kick ass oi have a Duracell one and all are cheap with all of our cheap and 2 hour lasting cell batteries these really come thru when u need juice . or go solar
