The listing, Francois Truffaut movie - The Wild Child - dvd has ended.
Francois Truffaut created and starred in this film about a young boy discovered living alone in the woods of France in the 1700s. Truffaut used actual journal entries to write this film. The acclaimed director also starred in this film as Dr. Jean-Marc Gaspard Hard, the person who takes on the incredible task of civilizing the "Wild Child".
The child was named "Victor" by the hospital staff. The story reminds me of the story of Helen Keller.
The film is visually beautiful and shows the early brilliance of Truffaut, in the masterful plot and the camera work in the movie.
The movie is in black and white, and has English subtitles. It has been viewed one time and plays perfectly. Running time is 1 hour and 25 minutes.
Hope you enjoy it. I have always really liked foreign films.
If you want, I'll include a list of other movies that I really like.
Take care and all the best to everyone.
