I have to share some of these Delphinium seeds with you! Wow, are they gorgeous! Seeds are dropping from the cut flowers on the coffee table. Of course I gathered them up. The seeds are really tiny.

Delphinium is a perennial that blooms from spring to fall in Zones 3-7.

They grow up to 60" tall and are great for a burst of color (Deep Purple, to pale Blue/ Lavender) in backgrounds. No staking or trellis is needed.

This is the second year they have come up in our clay soil, and it seems the plant has doubled in size!

I will add more pictures soon, I took tons of them. I'm in love with these flowers!

Questions & Comments

These are called Pacific Giant Mix Delphinium. Immense graceful spikes, closely packed with perfectly shaped flowers. They bloom year after year from spring to frost. The flower spikes can get up to 1-2 feet tall, the total plant gets up to 5 feet tall. The seeds will need to be stored in the crisper drawer of the frig. for a few weeks before planting.
