well mine is the dv7 amd quad core with 1tb hdd and 8 gigs of ram ddr3 1066 with a blueray dvd rw
It might work if you put a screen in it and get a charger for it I honestly dont know either way. I got it cheap and was going to fix it and I put a NEW keyboard in it the one it had when I got it was mossing half the keys but I found a laptop with an i7 really cheap so I got it for myself

Ok I didnt find an hp charger for it but if this auction reaches 5000 I will give my omni power charger with this it fits, this laptop and has adjustable voltage
Winner of this gets an extra 2 gigs of ddr3 and a mystery gift... I am looking through my parts I MIGHT have a charger that will work still looking will keep you informed
Send what with the laptop? My dv7 is not getting listed it will be working soon I bought it for $50 with a bad charge port so I ordered a new charge port and going to resalder it
nice auction, i will say this if you eat the shipping and ship for free the bids will raise tremendously, also if you verify your account (on the main screen go down on the left in account settings click verify my account then use the phone option have the phone handy cause when you submit your number a robot will call you and ask for the number it popped onto yuor screen. punch that in and boom verified. if you do this, it will also raise bids, theres alot of scammers out there, and listians dont trust people much who dont verify. just letting you know hope this helps,
ha my brother in law had hp pavillion dv9000 with an AMD turion @ 1.9GHz it was an nvidia motherboard but i think it was called Quanta or Quantum i dont know some weird name. started with a Q but he had it for like 3-5 years and during the 5th year his laptop either fried or batter stopped charging or something i dont but computer cut off in the middle of something and wouldnt come back on after trying to see if it was charging or not
