I am just curious and I hope you don't mind a question...On the base, do they have groceries and everything you need at their government store or do you have to drive a long way to a town to shop? I have never known anybody who lived there but wondered about things like that. Someone years ago was talking to me and said a base was like it's own little town, but bigger. He said many military persons went to work ON the base so did not really need to leave if they did not want to.
I am not trying to be rude, and hope I am not asking too private of info. I get a wild imagination and just wanted to know these things, but not trying to be nosey.
