I just read the package from front to back and I do not see any expiration dates on them. I just bought this package last month, but I have some myself and they do last a long time. As for age, they will work on any age. I have used them on my grandson who is 2 and on my granddaughter who is 16. I have also used one on myself when I was sick, because I was wondering about it myself. The package does say: Warning: Choking hazard. Recommended for children 12 months and older. They do stick very well. If you were to place it on your child's back, I would think that that would be alright. If you have any more question, please feel free to ask. =)

these are very cool. i remember when i was little , my grandma had the one's that were a plain black strip that you put on your forehead & it changed colors with how hot you were. brings back memories:)
