This Disc looks like it's a Dell Only so can only be installed on Dell systems. and it's not worth much since when XP was out and systems were in warranty the Recovery media was FREE. Recovery media doesn't cost anything over $50 if that depending on the media you need.

As a reason for the Key all Manufacturer's are doing Reinstall/Recovery discs which don't require keys/COA licenses to be used. Also note you may want to copy/write down or something your original sticker if you ever get a OEM Windows Install disc as those require your COA/License to install.

your welcome. It may work on other computers but problem is HP has their own restore discs with Windows/Microsoft activated key. If you do a google on Dell Product Key / Restore CD/DVD you may find keys but they only work with the System Restore Disc as it's preactivated. Sorry IT Specialist so I kind of know quite a bit about computers. Need help send me a message.

FYI: Illegal to distribute OEM software without the PC or hardware it came with, read the license, also on the disc it also says "For Distribution Only With A New Dell PC" And yes, you do have to have the Key from the label on the PC to use these discs.
