Congratulation.I had a preemie too.She was born at 32 weeks.She was in the nicu for 2 weeks than she was able to come home.Today she's a healthy baby.F/W

wait... "congratulations" was for STARBABY ONLINE and not me, right? lol cuzzzz i didn't have a baby but starbaby online had a grand baby-- YAY!
sooo happy to hear YOUR daughter's healthy; she was born at 32 weeks? isn't that 8 1/2 months? and she was considered a preemie? i thought pregnancies were for like 9 months? i didn't realize having a baby 2 weeks early could be harmful. i guess EVERY minute in mommy's tummy is better for baby, eh?

ooh yah... did u get the ads yet? i've been meaning to email u to be careful when u open it. remember they're are old and can tear easily. i got sooo frustrated i left most of them attached to the cardboard frames--cost like $22 for shipping

Yes! I got the package with the ads today, right before my daughter called me to come to the hospital. I didn't even have a chance to open them yet! We just got back from the NICU to see baby Rosalind. She's doing well, on oxygen and not maintaining a good body temp, but they said that is normal with preemies. They wouldn't let my daughter see baby Rosalind until 10pm - she had her at 3:33 today. She was going nuts, trying to bribe the nurses and the aids, and actually got to go up there earlier then they originally told her, by 1.5 hours. I'm going to be searching Listia furiously for baby things. She has virtually nothing, because baby wasn't expected for a couple more months. Thanks for asking! (Oh, and thanks for sweet the compliment - I'm 54)

k8lun - A pregnancy should last 40 weeks. Every week before 40 is one less week that the baby has to properly grow all of it's organs, so every week is very important. 32 weeks is 8 weeks early. Jasmine (my daughter) was 28 weeks - thank goodness little Rosalind was already big for her "age". They estimated her size at 32 weeks, but my daughter said it wasn't humanly possible that she'd gotten pregnant that early. Maybe baby Rosalind is part of an alien abduction - lol. Musta been one cutie pie alien!

you're too funny! i hope you got my message about the ads; i've been concerned. anyway... i did recently learn all those important details bout being pregnant and it seems so scary. i pray when i get pregnant my babies healthy because you never know what could happen it's like gambling but more at risk
