Let's take a trip down memory lane. How many of you remember playing the card game "Authors"? These cards must be at least 50 years old; we played it a lot, but all the cards are still there. The only thing missing is the "rules" card. Note the price in the top right corner...19 cents! The box shows some wear, but the cards are in very good condition.

The other item in this auction is a box of playing cards. Canasta? The box contains 2 decks of cards, one with blue backs and one with green. Each deck depicts a different "cartoon" portrayal of people doing laundry. The set is advertising memorabilia for the Maytag Company's 75th anniversary.The front of the box has the Maytag logo and the words " 1893 - 1968 75 years dependable. Since Maytag's purchase by Whirlpool, the Maytag Company is no more, much to the dismay of her many employees and retirees. Bid and give this treasure a new home!
