The listing, Firefighter Cross Stitch, Professionally Framed & Matted has ended.

This is a large cross stitch piece that took hundreds of hours for an experienced, perfectionist cross-stitcher to do. It was then professional stretched, framed and matted at a cost of over $100.

My ex-wife did this for me after my short career as a firefighter was ended in a roof collapse. The work is great, very tight, and there's no problem with it, except that she put her name and the year in the bottom right hand corner. Understandably, my wife of the last 5+ years doesn't want it hanging on the wall.

It is too nice to be tossed, with too much money invested. This piece, and one other one, would make nice decorations for any firehouse, or would go well in the home or office of any firefighter or firefighting collector. I will start bidding low, but please don't ask me to ship it for free. I just can't afford to. High bidder will pay actual shipping, and if you get both pieces, I'll ship them together to save you money on shipping.

Sure can! The cross stitch itself is about 8.5 x 11, the total outside measurements of the frame is about 15.5 x 18.75" for the smaller one, the one with the resting firefighter.

For both of them, you'd be looking at about $16 for Priority Mail without insurance, and about $12.50 for Parcel Post, w/o insurance. You don't save a whole lot by getting just the one. It is about $11 for Priority for just the small one, and $10 for Parcel Post for the small one. Hope this helps you out!
