This is a Beautiful Cup N Saucer Set I purchased at an Estate Sale. The colors are Vibrant and I do believe it is from the 50's as were all the other collectibles at the Sale.

Have you ever drank any beverage using this cup? I noticed a tiny dark spot on the inside of the cup. Do you know what that is? Is the glaze worn off? Is it dirt? Is this a functional tea cup that can be used safely in your opinion? My wife would love this but I know she'd only love it if she could actually use it. Thanks! f&w

No No No and No. I would never use a teacup like this to actually drink from it is strictly Decorative. I do believe it is also hand painted. Thanks for looking.
