This phone was purchased in Dec 2010 and only used a few times since then. It was reactivated in Febuary 2012 once I received a new sim card but due to financial problems I was unable to afford to keep this phone on so now I'm putting it up for bids!

Is it usable without the SIM card?

I believe that the SIM card is needed in order for the phone to work. I've never tried it without the card. The SIM card is in the phone it's just unregistered, once you reactivate the phone I think the SIM card will become registered again because it's a new card, I got it when I reactivated the phone in Febuary, but if you do run into a problem with the card, you could contact Net10 and have them send you another one absolutely free! That's what I had to do. Hope this answer helps. :-)

you have to contact Net 10...sims arent resuable and you cant switch them from phone to phone
