Im sorry i am still new at this ..... but i dont know what a " g i n " is . i see it on here a lot . but i always think it is a number or something . please respond back and let me know . it would help me out of knowing more about this . thank you . happy auctioning

dont feel bad, hun! i didnt know what it was either when i first started! you set a GIN (GET IT NOW!) in the beginning....figure out what you would like for it ... then, when you list the item....put that credit ammount in....you have to click on the bottom left ~ MORE OPTIONS...and there you will find the GIN space! good luck and have fun here at LISTIA! just dont get toooooo addicted, like we all do!!! fondly, sheri in lake tahoe :-)

Thanks sheridenisejames . it is so funny how u say not to get to addicted .... i already am , lol . it really seems that i can not quit now . my husband gets upset i get on while we go out to eat lol. but , anyways ... thank you . i did find out the gin button and what it was . now if i can figure how much the items is worth the credits . but i'll learn . just like everyone else did. thanks again . dee from south carolina.

no , it has an adjustable chain link . so u can make it tighter around your neck or loose . i love it , its beautiful . I just don't wear it no more.

ha ha ha!!! you WILL mellow out in about a month or two!!! it took me a few weeks to learn that each credit is about 1/2 cent...if you ask LISTIA, they will just say it depends on the market that day...which doesnt give you a clue! i know in the beginning when i had no auctions, i bought 6,000 credits for $40...so, when you do the math, its about the 1/2 cent each. so, that helps...to at least know what you are bidding...SO, for a GIN..i would just figure out how much MONEY you would want for an item if it were at you garage sale, then double it. so, if you think an item is worth $10, then 2,000 credits would be a good GIN...even a bit more if you are offering free shipping, which, is a good idea as you will get waaaay more action on your auction! and, so save your relationship with your BF...make it a rule ~~ NO LISTIA WHEN YOU GO OUT TO DINNER!!!! hope this all helps, hun! if you should have ANY questions, please feel free to contact me! fondly, sheri in lake tahoe :-)
