This is a cutout from a blue sweat shirt I had. But alas, I had outgrown (? Ü) it so rather than throw away this unflappable heroine, I decided to cut her out (at the encouragement of some sewing friends) and put her here to seek a new home. If backed with iron on facing, she will be ready to spiffy up a favorite jacket, shirt, bag, purse or ??? She stands a good 5-1/2" tall and is approx. 3 inches wide at widest part. The square itself measures roughly 7x10 inches (not a perfect rectangle). Though the sweat shirt was previously worn, Betty herself is bright and saucy as ever. You could use her in a square for a quilt block or cut closely around her and have a one of a kind decal / applique'. (NOTE: There is some light pilling, but if you cut around her closely, that part will be gone.) I'm guessing she's going to catch that ride to an appreciating new home from someone here on Listia.FREE shipping, of course.
