The listing, VERY FINE GRADE 1883-CC MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR W/SPECIAL COA has ended.
This auction is for something a little special when it comes to a MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR.
This is a CARSON CITY MINTED Coin. The Carson City Minted coins were always limited to a very low amount of coins minted, and with the unknown amount of these coins that ended up melted down for the Silver it makes them all that much more collectable and puts their worth at so much more than other minted Morgans.
This coin also comes with a CERTIFICATE of AUTHENTICITY from the General Services Administration in Washington D.C. (certificate number: 73.11321) to certify this coin as a genuine Morgan Silver Dollar that survived the Governments Melt of 90% of the Silver coins in the early 1900's.
I am trying out this new way to VERIFY and AUTHENTICATE a special Morgan Silver Dollar. Using the General Services Administration in Washington D.C instead of a TPGS should allow for your peace of mind, and keep the worth down just a little bit. Both for you and me.
I am going to allow for bidding on this coin. With the worth of this coin, normally I would only list it with a GIN.
Either you already know this coins worth, or else you should look it up and see that the GIN that I am placing on it is well below 1/2 the amount it should carry.
Thank you for your interest in my auction and stopping by to view it.
