This auction is for a Beautiful, 1973-S Proof "Ike" Dollar Coin.

The 1973-S is a "KEY DATE" in the Silver Clad and should be looked up to see why and what it is actually worth.

This coin is in beautiful condition, was minted with 40% Silver and will come withing a Plastic Capsule to retain it's Beautiful Condition. Any scratches, Scuff Marks or other flaws that can be seen in the pictures above are on the Capsule itself and not the coin.

Very nice coin alot of people don't realize they made 40% silver coins that year

up until 1974, some proof coins were minted in the 40% Silver. there are actually both copper/nickel clad and Silver clad coins.
the 73-S would be considered the KEY DATE coin costing over twice the worth of the other Silver Clads, with only 1/2 the amount of coins minted.
