Questions & Comments
Interesting item, but you haven't been verified and you only have a 60% seller feedback, so I think I'll pass as I have been burned on Listia before.
Ok thank you for stopping by as for being at 60%, I got in over my head with a lot of auction at once and with my mom passing, I got behind in shipping but iv refunded the credits and shipped item to winners anyway, I'm not on here to burn or be a thief, I enjoy this site very much and I will get verified, thank you for stopping by, God Bless.
if you want directions how to play go to the official National Mahjong League website. This isn't a game where you match tiles like you see on the Internet. Other than using the same characters and sets, that isn't real Mahjong.. Hope whoever wins enjoys it. This is a classic set..
Wtf!!!! everyone better bid more for this its worth $175 dollors!!! or at least thats what this same guy is selling it for on this other website right now!!!! link: http://www.hipswap.com/antiques/1920s-bone-ivory-mahjong-game-set he must have two of these!!! even the pics are the same!! wow. whats up with that?
It's true. I had this item for sale at one point on that site, but have since removed it to give it away in Listia, I had that app on my old IPhone and have nothing to hide. I don't mind answer anyone's question that want to question me or my items. I admitted I had some problems when I first started on Listia but I now I understand more of how things work and how much fun it is to be on here and will and would not put myself in a spot that I couldn't do this. Thank you.
Great question ! And I have done only the hot needle test on the pieces, and they did not melt so I can ONLY assume from what I saw and from the smell of burnt hair from the tiles they are ivory. I would need to have then chemically tested to know for sure, but I was given the set by a family friend that has been in antiques for many many years. Also iv gotten the option of dealers in my area and all agree that it's ivory and bone. I hope this helps and answers any questions. Thank you.
Thank you! It's a neat game once you learn to play but this set is really beautiful, I will take some pictures of the tiles and show the colors better. Good luck!!
