The listing, Large Native American Mandella has ended.

This is a large Native American Mandella from the Cherokee Reservation in North Carolina. It measures approximately 22 1/2 inches by 24 inches. Decorated with fur and feathers around the wooden frame. The picture itself is on a leather canvas. This has been in storage and collected some dust, no stains.

Is it OFFICIAL CHEROKKEE MADE or made somewhere else and sold on the reservation. I am 1/4th cherokee and very very proud of my heritage. But it is so sad to say that the cherokee nation and people have sold out to the american goverment that screwed us over and also sad to say that the Cherokee nation and people have bowed down to the almighty dollar.

When we bought this, we were told that it was made right there in the shop on the reservation. On the back of the leather, there is excess paint and actual fingerprints where it was made. No where on this beautiful piece does it say made in China, Japan or any other place.
And I agree with your comments about getting screwed over. I hope that this has answered any questions that you may have. Thank you for your interest.
