I think it works for both but I'm not for sure but it definitely works for the ds u can get an attachment that goes on that can fit a ds lite if it isn't for both

i hope i get it!i lost my charger for 5 months and now my ds lite is dead.im on top but an extra ds is useful!i put in 467 credits for it!

I'm not defenately sure if it's for ds lite but it is defenately for ds if it doesn't did the ds lite you can get a diferent port to go on the end

and it can be used has a i pod charger and or mp3 plus it wont damage it
