This auction is for Creature Card #14 in the Splotch Monster Edition.

"Splotch Monsters" are a creation of the artist Steve Loya. He has been making one a day for much longer than I have. Thanks to the Listian who brought his work to my attention. This month will be in honor of his work.

The card will be finished the day of the posting. This card is the standard regulation size of 3.5" x 2.5" or 2.5" x 3.5" respectively. You receive the original work of art and not a copy. These cards are mailed in an acid free, black backed, protective sleeve inside of a top loader for their protection and for your display should you choose not to frame the work.

My goal with this project is to spread art around the globe and what better place then here, at what better price then free! I will attempt to make and post a new card every day for the whole year!

I encourage the winning bidder to give the creature a name if they like :) (and any other information about the character such as gender, scale and any other defining attributes they choose)

I retain the copy write to the image. At the end of the year all the images and stories will be compiled into a book!

I own a gallery, have a bachelors degree in art, am internationally recognized and have shown in museums (just to name a few things.) My resume is available upon request.

I like the pic direction, it gives it sort of an octopus/jellyfish feel.

I wished I could have gotten the jelly fish part to feel more jelly like. I was afraid that if I broke from the outlines that I'd loose it. Sometimes you must risk it all for the best success. Perhaps it just wanted to be this instead :)

I like it with the "feet" on the bottom. As much as I love jellyfish, this looks more like some creature ready to put up a fight with his fists raised while running on all those legs. :-)
