Have not washed yet. like to keep them how we find them.so the buyer can have the fun in seing what they got once washed up.its your treasure now,have fun.my 6 year old is trading this so he can buy something cool on here. he found this with a 14k pilot fountain pen in a thrift shop with a bunch of old pensils he bought with his 1 dollar .Pretty cool no written on this pen so i really dont know metal type.but i can tell you that its is very much the color of gold.and it is an old pen because it came with a box of old pensils and fountain pen. we would go to gold shop but dont have my id yet and son realy wanst to buy something now..thanks and good luck.
