The Cross is plated but the Bail is stamped 925. Maybe this will help you and others understand.
What exactly is sterling silver jewelry (or 925 sterling silver)?

No the Bail is is the winners choice of 925 silver or 18kgp the pendant is tibet silver. To help understand what that is please see info provided.
Tibetan silver is used primarily in jewellery components, and is similar to pewter - an alloy of copper, and sometimes tin or nickel, with a small percentage of pure silver. Its overall appearance is of aged silver, but it can be polished to provide highlights on complex castings.
