O3cody96, hey, my husband said we do have two 1 gig cards. The other one is identical to this one, but to be honest i wouldnt know how much to say to get the second one, my husband just wants me to post it after this one. And it came out of his computer when he upgraded, so i kinda dont feel like i have the right to decide that for him.

hope you don't mind but i thought after you have a part for a computer you may have some extra knowledge about computers. i just got an hp small used desk top tower but the monitor that i have won''t come on when connected. as a matter of fact i tried 2 seperate monitors that i know is working and have good cords and neither one will come on. the computer comes on and the fans are working but the monitor nor the key board comes on. the keyboard lights will flash on then go right back off.. does the hp computer have to have a hp brand monitor to work? anything that you could tell me would be apprerciated thanks.

I know none of your extras (ie. monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, microphone, camera) have to be the same brand as your computer. when you bought the computer, did you see it turned on and hooked up to a monitor? I would suggest NEVER buying a computer unless you have seen it in action. As far as why the monitor isnt working, you might try hooking it up to a computer you know works with other monitors to make sure its not your monitor. but it could still be a problem with the computer since the keyboard is messing up too. My husband is the one that builds and works on family computers, so when he gets up i will ask him for you and email you. Good luck with it!
