The listing, Miniature Ganesh and Hanuman Hindu masks has ended.

Ganesh is a God of knowledge and the remover of obstacles. Also called Vinayak or Vighneshwer. He is worshipped, or at least remembered, in the beginning of any auspicious performance for blessings and auspiciousness. The Ganesh miniature mask is about 2 3/4" by 2".

Hanuman is a noble hero and great devotee of Lord Rama of the Ramayana. This deity is a provider of courage, hope, knowledge, intellect and devotion. He is also called Mahaveera (the great hero ) or Pavan-suta (son of air) or Bajarangbali. The Hanuman miniature mask is about 2 1/2" by 2 1/2".

Both masks appear to be hand painted plaster, no maker's marks. Imbedded thread loop for hanging.
