It is a claw design open.So closed it fits on a wrist around 6"-6'1/4 now at what I believe it can be used on a wrist maximum at 8'8"1/4..

Just to clarify I even double checked the watch because the picture is very deceiving.
But I guarantee that there is no crack what so ever clean,clear and ticking...lol.Must of been a shadow or the way I took picture...
