Hi again, everyone!
Well, I held a auction for $25.00 GC..you choose where and no winner. :( So, I am going to stick with what I am familiar with and that's gift cards I have auctioned before. (The ones that did not do well...my cousin will appreciate it for a baby shower gift! ;) )
So up for auction is a $10.00 Gift Card to Subway!
This is a 7 day auction.
**Question for some of you: Listia allowing to start bids high..is that a turn off for you? Less challenging and less competitive? I really want to know, because I always do really well with my auctions and I started the bid high and I would like to know if that was a turn off. :) Feedback welcome!

Umm..No. I cannot believe someone is asking me to lower the bid from 100 credits to lower? When I asked for feedback on if the new starting bids people can do now is too high, I was in talking about people starting bids at 3000, 5000, 10000 credits. I have always started my bids at 100 credits and that is pretty darn reasonable. ESPECIALLY for a gift card. And as for lowering the days, no..sorry I will not. Do not mean to attack you personally, but get a few auctions under your belt and then you will know what I am talking about. ;)

Amy, thanks for stopping by my auction and leaving such a nice comment. I left you one back. You are prefectly right. This is your auction and no one should ask you to change or point out their disagreements with it. I wish I would have seen your Gift Card Auction. I mostly bid on GCs and Stamps. You are right, Listian's are experiencing with the higher starting bid, and most people do not like change just look at the Face Book Time Line. I think and hope it will bring higher quality items to Listia and weed out some of the junk listings we see here. But, change takes times. So do not give up. Good Luck on your auctions. Hey..not a problem. I tried the higher starting bid and it didn't do well, but I was only doing a $25.00 GC. You have a great item up for auction and it appeals to both Nascar fans and those who collect M&M memorabilia! I hope it does really well! :)

Thank you! I think Listia should keep it at 100 maximum for most items. As I stated before, there are items that should be able to start off at a higher bid, but some things people are putting up and starting really high..it's outrageous!

Hi, i agree`~ i also do gift cards & stamps and i just can't have a large amount of credits tied up for so many days when the bid starts so high. (100 is good for me)
it is like a gin without the fee but with the wait & see time untill auctions end. blessings (*.*)
