20 inches from one front zipper to the other...23-1/2 across from pit to pit in back .. I took pictures.. see if that helps.. :-)

Yes, actually it does ... the rain will splatter off for a bit; but it won't hold the water off of you very long...my other Daughter has one exactly like it... thank you for your interest.... :-)
