I crochet to take an occasional short break from writing my Yarn Genie Mystery novels. Mostly I make up my own patterns. This Octopus is a new pattern because I wanted one with really long, curly arms. He's about 5 1/2 inches across and 1 1/2 inches tall, made from seafoam green baby yarn with non-toxic paint eyes so it's a safe toy to give to children to play with or use it instead of a bow on a package.

Winner gets the octo shown. Makes a fun gift for Easter, Spring, or Birthday or just because.
