The listing, 1944 Wheat Penny has ended.

I ran across this wheat penny from 1944, and thought someone might like it for their collection. I'm still trying to learn to use the new camera, so the pictures aren't great, but I hope they're good enough for you to see the detail on it.

I'm not a collector, so am not familiar with your grading system - this is obviously in circulated used condition, but you can still see everything on it well, including the date - but I don't know what ranking it would get from a professional collector. (sorry)

Penny will be hidden in a greeting card for mailing, and is ready to take to the post office at auction end - all I need is your mailing address.

that's great - sorry, I don't officially collect them, I just somehow end up with them, and thought I'd share with Listia members who do collect them - lol!

I don't know how well they do yet - we'll see soon! (I did auction a Mexican peso off a couple of weeks ago, and a French franc last week, but I've listed two different auctions for Canadian coins and they keep being removed - not sure why)

TIP: you can click on browse, then collectibles, then coins to see other auctions, or if you're looking for something specific (like wheat penny or mexican peso or whatever your want) you can put it in the search box and it will bring up just those coins up for auction - apparently some do great and some don't get a single bid!
