The listing, Six Mountain Laurel Seeds- plus chance for extras has ended.
SIX (6) red Texas Mountain Laurel seeds.
First photo is a stock photo. Second is of the seeds in pod form. I have broken the pods, and you are bidding on the seeds. Last photo is what they look like in my garden!
These smell amazing, and have pretty blooms, however, they are slow growing and poisonous if ingested. It can be grown as a medium to large shrub or trained to a single or multi-trunk tree. The blooms resemble lavender or violet pea flowers with the scent of grape Kool Aid. The black, somewhat constricted seedpods contain red to red-orange seeds which are sometimes used in jewelry. In zones colder than Zone 8, flowering is not reliable because of late freezes which damage the buds. Texas mountain laurel is difficult to successfully transplant from the wild. Also, the seeds should be soaked or nicked to successfully germinate.
If you have any questions, just ask.
If bidding goes over 800 points, I will add another two (2) seeds.
I've offered free shipping on most of my listings. However, I will need some help. I'm offering $1 shipping to help cover the costs while still being low in price.
