Crochet from all brand new soft yarn; its just so cozy and warm! I don't follow patterns so Im sorry I cannot share - this is all from my head. It also means each hat is unique.
The back "slouch' portion is made of soft boucle yarn and the bandeau portion is flat acrylic yarn.
I create an open weave at the back 'slouch' part so that the air can move about a bit... you wont get a hot sweaty mass of hair when you take this off. It also means that you can wear this in Spring and Fall when you dont need a tightly knit/crochet hat.
The bandeau portion of the hat is a tighter crochet to fit snuggly around your ears and prevent those windy day ear aches.

All 100% acrylic yarn which means its machine washable, will not fade or shrink. Can be put in the dryer as well but lay flat to dry for best results.
