Antigue lighter. Not sure if it is silver or not. It does work. No fluid is in it. It has a really nice pattern on it.

This is a 1940's Ronson lighter, and although silver in color, is not sterling.

Does it have any marks on the bottom or anywhereelse? Does it only run on lighter fluid and flints or will it take butane? thanks

It runs on lighter fluid as for marking its been packed a way for about twenty years out in the shed. Can't wait to get out again just so I can look at it my granddaughter would love to see the great grandmother stuff. Yours just broke back so many memory now I can't wait to get out the and see all of whats in there. Thank you for waking up old memory.

Sorry main is sliver just like your I don;t remember if there was a marking on main when I get it out I will have to look Mother is the one who told me it was sliver I know it was heavy, Sorry I could not help any more than that. Good Luchk
